8. Finally,
your review. If you need some guidance, try following these steps:
First,
write at least 3 or 4 sentences giving a rough outline of the
story, including the main characters, setting, background information
etc (remember - don't give away the ending!). Try answering
these questions: Did the characters run into problems or have
any adventures? Did you have a favourite character? If so, who
and why?
Then tell
us what you thought about the book - for example: Could you
relate to any of the characters? Which part did you like best?
Which part did you like least? Did you enjoy reading the book?
If so, why. If you didn't, why not? Would you want to change
any part of the story - again, don't give away the ending!
Finally,
would you recommend this book to anyone else? If so, what kind
of person do you think would enjoy it?
Remember, you
don't need to answer every question, they are just suggestions on
how to structure a review.
