This book is about a boy that really wants a dog. His family dosen't have enough money to buy him 2 red bone coon hounds. So Billy (the boy) saves up his money to buy them. Little Ann, Old Dan (the dogs) and Billy have many adventures together. The dogs are very devoted to Billy.
I rated this book4 statrs. I would recomend this book to any animal lovers, but if you read this book be prepared you will cry.
