The genre of the book is adventure and thriller. The book is introduced by a tale of Cinderella with Jesse doing all the chores for her evil stepmother, her two ugly sisters and her step-dad trying to be her real father. One night Jesse had a dream that she would find her mum with power that she didn't know she had.

The main events are when Jesse enters a fairy ring and meets Perigold, Dragon Hunter, Bribalin and the Gobbit. They go on many adventures to collect 3 coordinates to allow Jesse to find her mother. The book ends by saying Jesse and her friends defeat two witches called Gwendrith and Dendrith who tried to take the golden glow from the Jamesons: Jesse, Cathal and the Bogie Beast. Then Jesse is reunited with her mother and is told all her unknown relations.

I enjoyed reading the book because it had an original setting with weird character names and there were loads of adventures which make you keep turning the pages. My favourite part was when Jesse met Iggywigsomethingsomething - and the dragon hunter teases him about his name.

The story was set in the Kingdom of Finigull. The main characters are: Perigold, Bribalin, the Dragon Hunter, the Gobbit, Jesse, her mother and the two witches.

I've got a question for Sean Wright: why was chapter 9 in for, because it didn't fit in with the story?
