It has some hard words so you should be 9-12 to read it. The book's genre is Fantasy, and if you like the Harry Potter series you might like this book. Sarah-Kate is 11 years old and you never know what her mood is. Like one minute she's nice the next she's rough and violent. Hillary is well dressed, cautious, and helpful. It takes place in a messy back yard and a middle school. After Hillery enters Sarah-Kate's house uninvited she stumbles onto Sarah-Kates deep dark secret that could change her life... ... FOREVER!!!!! Afternoon of the Elves is a very good book but it leaves you hanging at the end.
