The Boxcar Children book is all about 4 kids whose parents died. They were told they had to go live with their grandfather, Mr Alden. Buy they thought he was mean, so on one stormy day they ran away, and they started living in a boxcar.

They had to use old junk to make things. The oldest kid had a job as a housekeeper, so they can have food.

I really enjoyed this book but it is not the best book I have read.
