Little House on Rockey Ridge is about a pioneer girl named Rose moving from South Dakota to Missouri. Rose has to leave her relatives and friends behind to move with her parents Laura and Almonzo Wilder and the Cooley Family.
The book is a true story and tells about her life in Missouri. Rose has lots of chores to do but has time to play with friends. The main characters are Rose, Laura(Ma), Almonzo(Pa), Paul, George, Alva and Fido her dog.
I really loved this book a lot. My favorite character is Rose because she is fun and adventurous. I think anyone that likes pioneer books would like this book.
