It was a well planned out book and I enjoyed the creative writing - it really hooked me.

I was anoyed that so much was missed out in the film, for example Tom Bombadil when he saves Sam from the Great Willow.

It takes alot of time and pages to get into the book and it is a quite tough read. I really enjoyed the part when they are under the roots of the the tree and the black rider is sniffing his ring.
