An inventor makes Chip and the people next door make fun of him because he has not got any fur and it makes Chip upset. So he goes to the pet beauty parlour and gets fur. Then he goes into town where there are some boys who pick up a wallet, but at the sight of Chip they drop the wallet and run off, and Chip gives the wallet to its owner.
